Wanted some opinions as to this 4 being the normal or Large variation...

I`ve also included pics of a few defects, one being a diecrack and also a crack-like area on the Queen`s neck just left of her hair ribbon and I`m curious as to what might have caused it.

That's a thick 4 .. different font than the normal one

Yup thick, the Charlton book shows a 'thin' one.
