1932 Far 2 5-Cent Odds For 2016

For those of you looking for 1932 Far 2s 5-cents, here is how my search went in 2016.

Excluding cherry picking, I found 4 1932 Far 2s in 1160 1932 = 1 in 290.

2016 ended up being a good year for me because I came across a group of 10 rolls of 1932s that had not been searched. In those 10 rolls I found 3 far 2 = 1 in 133 which is close to what the "original" estimated rarity was. Here are some photos of this find plus a photo of nine 1932s with the 3 far 2 mixed in for those who want practice identifying this variety.





If I hadn't stumbled on these 10 unsearched rolls, my odds of finding a far 2 would have been a lot worse at just 1 in 760.
