I bought $20 worth of junk silver recently at 12.6 x face value. This was in one of the rolls.

Any chance of this getting a PO1 grade? If so, would it be worth slabbing?

Looks AG and too strong for Poor01. PO01s don't have full dates. Usually you have to infer the dates. You can always continue rubbing the coin until the date wears away.

I agree. I was surprised with the amount of wear on the reverse vs obverse. Too much meat still on the obverse.

As moxking suggested, I'll put it in my pocket and let it rattle around with my car keys and change for a year or two.

I can only hope and pray that I'll look as good as this when I'm 115 years old.

The reverse easily makes it but the obverse is AG. I would say FR-02

I got a lowball 1859-S half recently, a fairly scarce date survival-wise. I feel like the obverse easily makes it and the reverse is between PO-01 and FR-02.

The obverse is AG, the reverse is PO. However, the obverse carries the grade, so FA 02.
