Another probable intentionally damaged coin I am tossing out for viewing/comments.

9.6g, 28.4mm diameter (it is round) and no reeding.

The weight doesn't match any other planchets.

If it was altered, I'm not sure exactly how they did it? Any lines on the outside rim of this coin?

I don't see any grip marks which would likely be present if this was sanded down on the edges. It doesn't look like an acid job, either.

I'll see what others might come up with, because I'm not seeing an obvious answer.

I think Coop got it! I covered the light with a mylar sheet and took a pic of the edge details. Pretty clear that a tool was used to file away the edge. Not sure how they kept it so round, but this one seems solved.
