I posted a possible doubled die/repunched date in the world errors/varieties section but not getting much response. Maybe a variety expert from this forum could take a look as I am curious about this coin. 1935 Swiss 5 francs:

The devices are reduced in size. I found an image on ebay to compare it with:

Thanks Coop! Looking at that side-by-side certainly does look like reduced devices. But how does an MD create those distinctive notches? Could it be a DDO on an MD coin or can an MD coin create those notches?

Perhaps the angle the the MD happened. It was just the right angle on your coin. The next coin may have seen at a different angle. It varies from strike to strike.

Just depends on the bounce/movement after the strike. Note all these are different and were all found in the same rolls?
