Upon close inspection I am seeing what they call a starburst effect at the wingtips. Wasnt able to capture in the photos but it is quite prominent
Thank you

I'd give it a 64, being generous, maybe a 65. The obverse seems to have gotten a little scuffed up, but other than that, a pretty coin!

What type of lighting are you using? I find taking photos of white Morgan's difficult. I have a desk top day light LED Ott light that works great on toned coins, but not so good on white Morgan's.

Thank you all for you comments. I paid $150 for it and wanted to ask if you all think it worth grading at NGC.

I am using two bulbs, I THINK that they are fluorescent. I will check when I get home to be sure.
I am using two lamp "shades" from this lamp

to diffuse the light. The camera is an LG phone propped up on some random stuff to achieve the correct height. The camera has a "cheese shutter" which is basically a voice controlled shutter. (it responds to "cheese", "smile", "whiskey", and some others). This helps to reduce any movement while taking the picture.
I don't think that my results are professional, but they are a great step in the right direction using basic tools already available to me in my home.

I see 63s selling for $190 and 64s selling for around $210. Looks like you lose some financially if it comes back a 63 and if would be a wash if it comes back a 64. However the coin would be easier to sell for full value in a slab if that is what you intend to do with it. Looks like a close call.

I would send it into NGC for economy grading as your downside is 62 and upside is 64. The MS63 are selling between $200 and $225.

There has been a lot of talk about NGC grading standards getting tighter since the new label. It appears that NGC may have a game plan to get back on top in the industry with the tighter grading and recent registry changes.

At least a MS63 with a good shot at MS64.

Very nice eye appeal as well. Nice coin!

MS-63. Those are some heavy hits on the obverse.
