I was wondering if anyone happens to recognize this bronze coin?
One side it looks like portret of zeus and the other side perhaps an owl?

Wish I could make out more on this one. There were small Zeus/owls minted at Velia, Lucania. Not entirely sure if that's what we've got here, though...

I have seen one of these before but its killing me I cant think wherr... aside from Athens other places that use owls are Pontos Amisos and also Kamarina... Pontos ones normally have wings spread and Kamarina is usually with a gorgon or head of Athena.

I will be interested to kick myself when this one gets answered.

To me it looks more like a figure facing left with outstretched arm

Another one that my " minds eye " is having trouble seeing as an owl.

Thanks for all the help but still not a exact type yet... are these coins rare that it is hard to find an match?
I was wondering when I compare your descriptions is athene a portret on my coin or a figure on a cross? that I think is a owl?

You would say that the copper ones are more known then the silver or gold pieces..
