I have maybe 150 coins in my backlog, just waiting for me to either figure out the attribution (for LRBs) or have an "Aha!" moment on ebay. I have had this coin for nearly a full year, from a lot of 97 coins for $100. Randomly saw a nearly identical one listed on ebay a couple days ago Cleopatra VII 51-30 BC Neopaphos, Cyprus Laureate head of Zeus right Zeus standing left, holding wheat ear (off flan) and scepter, drapery coming from elbow. Star above (also off flan) No legend anywhere on the coin! This is good news, however, since it reinforces my hunch on several similarly shaped small coins from the lot featuring the bust of a female someone or other.... Report this Post to the Staff

Finn235 Pillar of the Community United States 6130 Posts	Posted 12/14/2016 01:27 am I'm not 100% sure if it's her, but given the huge number of Ptolemaic bronzes in the lot (close to 20 of the 97?) I think it is more likely than other possibilities. I'll have to see if I can find them again to get some pictures. They all have a very distinctive convex shape where the obverse is almost curved and the reverse is flat. Several also have flan handles, if memory serves. Report this Post to the Staff
