Hi everyone, I was given these 2 coins, well one I think is a token I think but I'm not sure, I have been unable to find anything that even closely resembles them any help would sure be appreciated. The Liberty head one is the one I think is the token it has some writing on it thats says "COMPOS SPIE___ OUZE I think, its worn and the hole blocks some of it too, the other side has General Washington. The other has a date of 1863 but no other writing that I can determine.
Thanks for all your help

Welcome to the community.

Look like ground finds. The washington looks like a game counters, but not the same reverse.

I believe the one on the right is a German-made "Washington" game counter, as in CCya's link. The other appears to be a "patriotic token" from the Civil War period.

SPIELMUNZE is German for "game coins" or "game counters/tokens" so anytime you see the word SPIEL it's a game piece of some kind. FYI.
