Hello,

I need help in figuring this one out. I am not aware of any doubled dies for 1986 LMC, but I came across this LMC in my usual CRH. Reminds of the 1955 Wheat "poor man's doubled die".
The "abnormality" on the number "6" is actually a little bit raised and not just a print like mark.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Just a worn die, another indicator is the ridge running along rim area going up from the 6. Some are pretty impressive Die Deterioration though and they sell them on ebay. They nickname them railroad tracks or something to that effect.
