I found this steel cent while coin rolling. Didn't think I did too great finding only 4 wheat and 3 Canadians out of $25 worth but upon closer inspection, the 4 appears to be missing on the 1943 steel penny. It doesn't appear to be post mint damage, given that the depth one would have to edge it away would have exposed the steel and it would have rusted by now if it were old post mint damage. The zinc in the area which is missing the 4 appears to have the same level of corrosion as the rest of the face. I suppose it may be a form of grease die error, but with a number completely missing, could it still be valuable? If so, how valuable?
