I have several possible error coins I'd like to list on ebay but have very little knowledge on this subject. I have done some reading and looked at hundreds of photos but am still unsure if some of these coins are actually mint errors or damage caused later. I was hoping that someone here may be able to tell me if these are mint errors.

Both have ridges all the way around and they are the shape of a normal dime.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

to CCF!! All of your coins are damaged. But stay with us and you will learn a lot. Also, this topic is in the wrong forum, but it should get fixed soon.

I really appreciate the fact that you took the time and made the effort to find out about your dimes before listing them.

Thanks Buddy! I'm an honest seller and spend a lot of time researching anything I plan to list if I don't know anything about it. I was beginning to get frustrated and then thankfully came across this forum!

As a general rule, if
the 'error' appears to be impacted or pressed into a coin,
that coin has suffered damage, either deliberate or accidental.

We all learn from questions asked. I also appreciate your research prior to listing.

The 1970-D(?) seems to be a Dryer Coin with a sort of vice grip indentation. The 2011-P almost looks sanded down. But definitely PMD.
