Hey All Happy New Year !!

I have an Indian Head / Buffalo coin/round that I would like some information for. I can't find where on the forum here to make a post. If a moderator happens to visit my post here maybe they could move it to the correct forum for me (thank you).

I would like to know first off if the proper terminology would be a round (which I think is the correct answer) or a coin?

I would also like to know about luster - I don't do grading so have no knowledge of determining this factor.
It is very shiny and has a very strong strike like proof coins. Don't know if my images will be good enough for you all to determine luster.

1 troy ounce, weight is 31.40 grams

Any help is appreciated thank you very much.

It is a silver round with a nice design. Most rounds are not graded unless they are popular or vintage types, as the vast majority of them are valued near the spot price of silver.

There are more different designs of silver rounds than one can possibly keep up with.

Many with VERY attractive designs
Rest in Peace

Yes, you must be careful. If not, you can easily have your coin money sucked sideways into silver rounds. Although lifting a heavy box of silver has its compensations.

This one is the Sunshine mint.

Never knew what mint this was cranked out by.
Almost all of the so called generic silver rounds are sold at spot with a $2.00/$3.00 premium. Some of the LCS that are still selling rounds are losing money on them because they were bought when the spot was higher. Other than the ASE's,and other country specific silver rounds and certain sealed rounds and bars sell for more than spot and a low premium.
If somebody told you to get it graded they are full of slugs and other offal!
Beware of ebay Chinese silver rounds as a lot ate fakes.
There have been a lot of the Indian/buff's appearing in the LCS bargain silver tray.
You can not a[[ly coin standards to art rounds. Coin silver is a different animal altogether.
