The Belgian 5 Francs was posted before I was awake, so I revert to a French one for 1873. It equally is a high mintage issue.   For decades, both during the second and third French Republic, the most popular obverse has been this Hercules group. It was used again on the 10 New FF of the 1960's and on the 50 FF of the 1970's.
