Looks like we copied our nickel 3 cent reverse from that coin.

This one's not yet in hand, but was won at an auction Saturday. Florence 1 Lira 1601 depicting the beheading of John the Baptist.

Yes good point @tdziemia, there are some strong similarities.

Here is a Schilling from Livonia (Riga mint) dated (1)601 AD. It is attributed as Kopicki #8124.
