2000-P Jefferson Off-Center With Some Kind Of Reeding

aristarchus123 Pillar of the Community United States 1695 Posts	Posted 01/07/2017 11:31 pm I found this 2000-P tonight in a bank roll. I hope to have help with two questions: 1. Since the coin is offset both on reverse and obverse, then is this a genuine off-center strike rather than a MAD? 2. I noticed that most of the coin has some patterned indentations that look like reeding on the edge of the coin (See photo at bottom). What is this reeding from? Many thanks! I have no idea about the "reeding."
