I found this 2005-P in a bank roll this afternoon. I don't see obvious Blakesley effect from the two missing parts of the planchet, except that the rim is thinner across from the two clips. Any thoughts?

Yes, that is a genuine double clipped planchet (also known as an incomplete planchet).

A great indicator is the flow lines along the clips and on the letters nearest the clips.

The Blakesley effect is either non existent or very minor, but that does not matter. It is not always present on genuine incomplete planchet errors.

I see the Blakesley affect on the larger clip. The copper color at 10:00 both sides.
