Paul Bulgerin Pillar of the Community United States 3098 Posts	Posted 01/09/2017 4:56 pm I won this Hadrian today on ebay. The reverse legend is COS and the bust marks it as struck in 117 AD, shortly after Hadrian ascended to the throne. I'm an avid collector of Hadrian denarii and like these "young" bust coins. I'll decide once I get it whether to leave it or give it a lemon juice soak. It should clean up pretty easily. This one is going in my collection. I have two other COS denarii of Hadrian.
