Hi Tim,
This one looks pretty good to me. Color is uniform and appears OK for a circulated copper coin. The pictures aren't real detailed but I don't see any obvious hairlines from cleaning and there are no noticeable detracting marks. There is some dirt around the date and letters which adds to the overall original look, in my opinion. Grade-wise this is in the VF-25 or VF-30 range, based on the pictures in the PCGS Grading and Counterfeit book.

Nice looking cent!

Tim, can you get any closer pictures? My immediate suspicion, based on the differing conditions amongst letters, and below the bust vs. the entire coin face is it's been cleaned or cleaned off (maybe with oil). I'm no expert, though.

No indication of cleaning to me, easily a VF-EF coin.

Tpatna, it hard to tell from those pics. If it has been cleaned, it is not harsh and I would not be afraid of it. Still, when I see crud on the inside of devises, like in "Liberty" and the date, and spotlessly clean on the outside like this one, it makes me curious.
