Hi Everyone,

I'm thinking of buying a set of 4 Sassanian coins however I've never collected any coins from that particular civilization since my focus have always been on Near eastern Roman provincials. Any help identifying them would be highly appreciated and how much would a lot like this go for? Please advise!

Are these authentic as well? There seems to be green patination on the second coin though

The first one is Khurso II, second is Shapur II, 3rd appears to be a clipped Hormizd IV, and the last a clipped Khurso II.

The last two have been clipped so they aren't worth much. The first on $30 at most and the second on which is the more valuable about $50. Say I would say about $90 for all.

The third coin is a Western Turk imitation of Hormazd IV. Like most, it bears a mintmark of BHL for Balkh, and a regnal year 11. The last is a clipped and chipped Khusro II, the mint is WYH, for Weh-Kavad, and the regnal year is 2. This is the only RY where the pin feathers in the wings are represented by dots.
