Yes, that is indeed a spike Head and a nice one, with all the other cracks to go along with it. It would be a new listing on the CudsOnCoins.com website. Can you please post images of the full Obverse & Reverse? Thanks and hope you keep coming back.

This was actually our first spike head too. I believe I'll take your advice and submit it as well, thanks.

From these images I figured how to make an image of the die stat struck this coin: By inverting the image into negative view, it make it look like the die in that area. (I know, I have a weird brain)

Nice images CreatedMonster - you can contact JC Stevens at CudsOnCoins.com via email - just go to their attribution page and it lists his email address. Good Luck.

That's pretty clever there Coop! And thank you all for the comments thus far. As for the pics I did the best I could at the moment. Using a standard microscope and shooting with my phone though the eyepiece lol. I have just ordered a USB microscope hopefully that will clean them up a little more. And Coop I just thought about it, when I get home I may take your idea with the negative picture and smooth out the areas surround the cracks to really give it the look of the die that struck it. Well smooth out any obvious PMD any how. Thanks KS again guys.

That's a very cool coin! I love those die cracks. Would it be rude of me to post 3 coins from the same year and mint that are somewhat similar?

Yes, you can create a new post with all 3 of them if you showing the same errors/varieties etc. Usually, it is 1 coin per post. Otherwise replies get kinda of messy trying to keep track of which reply is for what coin.
It is not really appropriate to post your coins on others post unless it is a post calling for it. like "show us your best ...." )
