This coin is ruff to put it simply,But it looks like it also might be a strike through. I say that because of the lack of scratches and or gouges around the 2 areas. But I am still learning and I really don't have much experience with this type of variety. Thanks for looking!

Hard to tell looks like it could be a strike through to me. The date looks kind of weird , everything looks flat

I've never heard the term " strikethrough", please tell me what that is. . your coin got smushed for sure, rot started, but looks like a sharp, clear strike originally.
