I think you're probably right. I haven't been able to pin it down as anything else.
The lack of a common detail seen among numerous Sinkiang 1/2 miscal coins and that well defined leaf branch threw me off. The leaf pattern reminded me of one of the India mint marks- but that didn't pan out. I searched more Asian and gave up trying to see if it was not Sinkiang- because there are a number of possibles.
But in the end I agree Sinkiang 1/2 miscal is a very good choice.
With luck, someone will come along and confirm or correct that.
