its an 1896, which makes it all the more UNLIKELY that it is an O

On an 1896-O Barber dime the O is toward the left, this coin has the mintmark more towards the right.

The 1896-S has a mintmark leaning towards the right, which corresponds with your coin. Your coin is likely an 1896-S.

I can't see the whole coin, but 1896-S is a semi-key and worth about $30-$40 in the condition I'm seeing. Nice find!

391666642366 won from this lot. Had 6 dimes for 12.61 had 1877s and I believe the 01 or 02 has an s but too worn to know for sure.

I had an 1896-O Dime - in 58 :
but I sold it 6 yrs ago - its
been replaced with a nicer looking
AU 55...images are God Knows Where !!?
