Looks like a decent pick-up. Was this a metal detector find in a scavenger hunt? How does the reverse look?

Humbly suggest that coin pics be rotated accordingly for better viewing.

I've had the same issue with sideways pictures when posting from my Iphone they're fine when looking at them on the phone but sideways when using the laptop. Still haven't figured out how to fix it

Someone gave the answer on how to fix that problem but after the tenth step my eyes glazed over.

Neat coin. Was this a prize or found in-ground?

I use Windows Live Photo Gallery to rotate and otherwise adjust pics. However, the Image Optimizer on CCF offers the option to rotate pics; this, among other options. Great tool, it is.

The iPhone has its own editing tools, its right between the Heart Icon and the Trash Icon, the Icon with the 3 lines and circle. Select it and you will have options to crop rotate, adjust color and density, etc.

It's an interesting find, but the : after "STATES" and the marks on the head will keep it from getting a straight coin grade. As such it has minimal value.

It's too bad because the piece has sharp detail, at least Extremely Fine, otherwise.

Too bad about the damage - a headache for sure.
