Every individual die is a variety. In the earliest days of the Mexican Republic no two dies were the same. So unless a variety is really spectacular or involves a change of date or assayer or a misspelled word, it can usually be ignored as not adding any value.
One of the problems with 8Rs in general is that many if not most were melted outside of Mexico. The 8R was a method of selling the silver from the mines.
It has been postulated by experts older than myself and far more famous that not every die made even has 1 surviving example remaining. That is why a book like Overton is unlikely to ever be done for any Mexican mint.
