I agree this is not a grease molding issue:

Note on the image on this site that the dies were filled with grease. On your coin I see no evidence of this on your coin. The devices are well formed. But as Clause mentioned, the issue is not grease, but the die is deteriorating.

Note on this example, the devices on the date are normal, but the Die Deterioration is separate. On the image from you posted you can see the devices mostly fill and the spread of just one digit. The last one. Your coin is more like the 1992 image I posted.
