Just remembered I had this tucked away for years but don't know anything about it. Any input will be appreciated.

Thanks

Neat! It looks like a real error, but I forgot what that's called.

Looks like a well-used complete front to back offset ink transfer. Value in low condition is somewhere around 50$ in my opinion. If it was "unc" it would be worth several hundred dollars.

@ OJC ... Because of it's used condition I'm going to assume this note was found in circulation. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Don't really have any plans for it, just thought about having it stashed away and thought I would see if I could find anything out about it as I had no idea.

About 15 years or more, I was at a farm supply store buying feed for my animals and when I went to pay, the elderly lady who owned the store was all upset because the guy before me had paid for something with this bill and she was afraid it was counterfeit. I didn't think it was so I told her I would swap her another $10 for it.....and that's the story of how I ended up with it.

Very neat find and the story of how you came upon it is great. I love hearing the history of these finds, keeping it for the story is justification. That said the $50 assessment of its value is accurate. The problem is it was probably worth $50 when you first came upon it and twenty years from now it will probably bring the same $50. Unlike population rarities error notes in this condition are relatively static in value. The Bay would be the best place to find it a new home.
