This coin belongs to a friend of mine, who gave me permission to photograph it. Die clashes are not easy to photograph, because the glare that helps to see them, is not nice in the photos. Very neat! Out of curiosity (and sorry for the confusion this next sentence my bring): when dies clash, does the die clash appear strongest for the next few coins and then slowly wears off? Or does it stay noticeable until the die itself wears down?

Great clash! It's subject to wear as any other feature of the die. The first coins will be the sharpest, but it may take many hundreds or even thousands of coins to smooth out. .

I have a similar one, but not quite as pronounced a clash and not as red. Very nice!
The one I have, I bought many years ago - I've been looking for this variety in change ever since. Nada.
