I was going to say the DDO-001, but I'm leaning more towards the DDO-003. Looks to be a nice DDO, though!

Looks more like 1943P-1DO-001 to me. The back stuff maybe hiding what is on the '4' on the date, but note the curve of the back side of the '9'

Woo Hoo! Yes! Ya'll have made me look harder, it's definitely the 001. Usually when I find one of these it's the 0045 or something. It's got some wear, tough to find the 73 year old die scratches - but by golly it's the exact variety! Makes my day. My thanks to all three of you.
