Obverse looks AU-50 reverse looks MS-61 I'll say AU-53 overall.

I'm at AU53 also. I think it has a little much wear on the high points and some surface issues that keep it out of the 55 range

I would say AU-55, close to AU-55. Finding the Type II Twenty Dollar Gold Pieces (1866 to 1876) in strict Mint State is difficult. The coins were too valuable to save back for a collection the 1800s because $20 was a lot of money in those days. On the other side, none of these coins have recovered from ship wrecks which the prime source for Type I $20 gold coins, mostly from the SS Central America recovery.
