Hello,
just ordered an EL-Omegar 75mm f/3.5 Enlarging Lens for my Spiratone Macrobel Bellows to be mounted on my Canon T3i, anyone have an idea for what adapters needed for the bellows/ lens connection? trying to order them ahead of time before all the parts come in for my coin Photography project .

Do you have the original box and book for the bellows. If so, it should tell you the thread/adapter sizes on either end.

The lens you ordered is an m39 thread(used to have one), so it may mount direct on your bellows if it's the same thread, don't know.

I use pentax bellows, so I need to adapt my lenses and t6i mamera to an m42 thread/adapter.

Experts with a spiratone will need to chime in....

Macrobel probably have M42x0.75 thread (T-mount) but don't know about
EL-Omegar - is there M39x1.0 or M39x0.75 thread?

The el-omegar I had was an M39x1 thread that I had to step up with M42x1 adapter to allow use with the Pentax Autobellows. Not knowing for sure what the threads are on the macrobel bellows makes it had to speak to what adapters will be needed for this setup

Most Macrobel bellows are T-mount (M42x0.75), but I have seen examples of Pentax (M42x1), and Nikon F. I have not seen any M39x1. So you will likely need a T-Mount to M39 adapter, which are actually not very easy to find. I don't see any for sale on ebay right now. You can probably get away with a M42-M39 adapter in a pinch, but it wont' thread all the way in.

Then simple M39-M42x1.0 ring adapter could work also.
As long as it grips a thread or two, it'll be fine. Besides, the EL-Omegar is so light, it does not matter.
It wont thread in all the way because of the pitch difference, so don't force it.

Thanks all for your reply and help, the adapters I found are more expensive than the bellows but I will wait on the lens and double check to see if I can find a fit for it, if not I guess the next best thing is to get a bellow that has adapters are more readily available for it.
Again thanks all for your help !!
