Looks like a 10 Yen from Japan. Billions of these out there, so not worth very much at all.

I've been wondering this myself, as I own quite a few of these same coins.

10 yen after 1959 have a smooth edge and all but the top condition coins are worth about 10 cents in exchange.

The 10 yen from 1951-58 have reeded edges and are worth a pittance over face value, just like wheat pennies and 1940s Jefferson nickels. These coins are very often used as filler for large world coin lots.

Somewhat untrue for the earlier Japanese 10 yen coins - the reeded edge ones are worth a bit more than face value in used condition. They are worth a fair bit more in UNC condition - I've seen some hitting more than 50 dollars. Trust me, they are much harder than you think. If you do happen to see them in your coin dealer junk box, feel free to hoard them and make a profit
