The 10 yen from 1951-58 have reeded edges and are worth a pittance over face value, just like wheat pennies and 1940s Jefferson nickels. gxseries Pillar of the Community Australia 3831 Posts	Posted 01/27/2017 1:23 pm Somewhat untrue for the earlier Japanese 10 yen coins - the reeded edge ones are worth a bit more than face value in used condition. They are worth a fair bit more in UNC condition - I've seen some hitting more than 50 dollars. Trust me, they are much harder than you think.
