Laundry and soap product tokens, were common back in the day I have a number of laundry blueing and soap tokens that I have posted in the past.

I have never seen laundry and soap tokens, although I can't say that I have been looking hard. So this is new to me.

This token is for the New England Soap Company. The company was located in San Francisco California in the early 1900's, pretty far from New England. It has the standard "Don't Worry Club" logo of the period.  Brass, 32mm, 11.86gm Obverse: USE CLOVER LEAF AMMONIA BORAX SOAP / NEW ENGLAND SOAP CO. / S.F. (San Francisco) Reverse: Swastika, Four-Leaf Clover, Horseshoe, Runes, Wishbone MEMBERSHIP EMBLEM OF THE DONT WORRY CLUB / GOOD LUCK

I have a handful of "good for" tokens that I have accumulated over the years.
I used to try to collect them when I was younger, but somewhere along the way I got distracted.

I got a little wielded out when I read these.. I thought they were giving cakes away for buying soap..

Free cakes for buying soap would be more appealing to me.  It seems if the members combined forces, we could come up with a truckload of soap!  Quote: ...somewhere along the way I got distracted. I think I know what by...
