Someone did say to me after I bought it: That is a MS 68 easy, if you take the scratches off Lady Liberty's cheek. I think not!

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but clashing is when (during minting) the dies hit together when no planchet was in between. This causes some designs from the obverse to transfer to the reverse and vice versa.
The spike jutting out and down away from the middle of the neck (i believe) is part of the wing of the eagle from the reverse.
Under the right wing (i believe, please correct me if I'm wrong) you can see design elements from the bottom right of liberty's hair [this is found between the eagle's wing and the wreath]
And the left side is sometimes visible elements of (I believe) Liberty's face

Looks like it could make 64. The scratches by the chin and base of neck look a little more than superficial.

Worth a reholdering? Sorry only a $15 difference between 63 and 64. Not worth reholdering.
