only the 2nd rev. and 3 rd has been chosen .the first rev. is his cabin home and it is one of the 2 in that article they must choose from.his president years I never seen yet.

G'day, it strikes me as an unusual concept:
two portraits of one person, on different sides of the same coin.
Maybe they'll be nicknamed "Double Lincolns" ?

If they want a design to represent his presidency during the civil war, then it should be a picture of him delivering the Gettysburg Address, or maybe him visiting the troops ( I believe he visited the troops while at Gettysburg.) Or, as he traveled by train and gave many speeches from the tail end of the observation car, you could have a pic of him standing at the back of the observation car.
A more morbid design could be a view of him sitting in Fords Theater

Just heard on the AP that Liam Neeson has been hired by Dream Works Studio's to play Abraham Lincoln. They will start filming late in 2009 and will be released as a summer movie directed by Steven Spielburg!.... They DID apparantly have "closed door" meetings with the Director of the United States Mint himself........so ......IT "IS" LIAM NEESON ACTUALLY ! Wow.......!.....I knew Dream Works was the most powerful studio in the history of the planet......but ...........SHEEEESHH !  Edited by eaglefoot
