As a collector of Constantine coins I have never seen a coin of this rarity in such nice condition. Very nice!

Very nice coin. So what are we saying this is, RIC VII Rome 165 officina T with badly deformed letter P in Left field and exergue?

To me it reads as D|R // A T for P|R // P T. Seems it would be in a great state of preservation even without the desert patina (though I'm not suggesting removing that).

RIC 185 (4 turrets) rated R5

However, the bust is not LHC (laureate, helmeted and cuirassed), the plot thickens......

Of course. I was on the wrong page of my checklist. I should have known better, since I have 165 for officina P and I have a poorly preserved example of this (184) for officina Q.
