Hows it's going Mac here,
Found this out of a roll, never seen one like it. The contour of the cut matches perfect with another penny. I know there were some '71 Double Die coins. Could this possibly be a mint error?

It appears to be damage, based on the unevenness of the divot and the curved mark from GOD to WE. Can you provide an image of the reverse? That will show whether the coin has been damaged or has an indent error.

The coin pictured is damaged.

Not a mint error.

It is a creepy coin, similar to the 1970-S athiest cent. Very curious as if it could be a mint error or something else.

Yep, definitely damaged. An indent error would not create a bulge on the reverse, it has most likely been whacked with a hammer.
