Hello, I have recently started to collect all sorts of US coins and find this hobby very enjoyable. I pulled a 2011 p dime from change and noticed some damage to coin and was wondering if it was a mint made error. I've weighed the dime: 2.5 grams Would appreciate your insight. Thanks *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

Sorry, PMD (Not a mint error). Looks like it was put under a barstool or table and scraped for quite some time.....

to the forum! Sometimes all it takes is finding a coin like this to start someone off on a coin collecting journey that can last a lifetime. Keep searching!

Hang on I actually have one like that same rim folded over on both sides the reeds are perfect and the indents in the folds match yours exactly and the fold over has protected the overall meticulous condition of both sides I will add my pics for you tomorrow to see it.

That one is also PMD, but you want to make a separate topic for that one to get more attention.
