I don't know possibly a defective planchet . Her is the whole coin face it's in nice shape not beat up .

I've come to find out that it doesn't matter if there is any damage any where close to a area in question. It's just a lucky PMD hit!

when I'm gone my coin collection wont be worth more than face value but I sure will have had a great time finding all the weird and crazy!!

This is not damage. It is from a Grease Fill on that die. That is why it didn't show an indent mark on the coin. Also note the device is showing a bit more width, also a Struck Through Grease error.

When I looked down and saw the exact field height in that area, I knew it was not from damage. Damage would have been lower than the field. So that area of the die was filled exactly with grease on the device on that area. Not a premium thing, but an educational thing.

I just got done editing this image today. It was in my folders in a lower area and I got to finally get to it.
