Did anyone here see his latest newsletter? There is some crazy stuff he has acquired. I often look at Jon's newsletters and drool, not because I collect US errors, but at the crazy errors that never escape the Royal Canadian Mint.

How about this (20 coin bonded cent cap): https://sullivannumismatics.com/coi...ap-ms-66-red

and this (14 coin nickel cap): https://sullivannumismatics.com/coi...ie-cap-ms-65

Even a crazy error for jbuck (triple struck in collar, die adjustment strike): https://sullivannumismatics.com/coi...strike-au-58

He does get some crazy error coins.

Some of them, like the Lincoln Cent struck on a nail, really make a person wonder how they could come to be.

Probably getting out the back door at the mint. But this type of error could be found in bags before 2001. Since the 2001 pallet bags that are sent to distribution centers, the errors are supposed to be sent back to the mint. So we see less of events like these coins as they won't fit into a roll. We get the error we find mostly if they do fit into the roll since then.
