I dont think so. It might be visually distracting in hand however.

Looks like natural wear, with a ding in the shield; shouldn't be a problem to crack it out and send it to PCGS.

Since it's a circulated coin at the XF level handling marks should be expected. I think it will slab as original.

I really don't think it will be a details coin . It is almost to be expected on a circulated coin of this age .

Not even close to details threshold. It will be fine!

These are big coins and these sorts of things are to be expected.

Probably won't hurt it's grade.

I have no opinion on the coin itself, but I wouldn't crack it out. I'd submit in holder. PCGS has a February crossover special. If it doesn't cross, it comes back to you in the ANACS holder. http://www.PCGS.com/crossover

Dig doesn't bother me at all, especially on the reverse. Nice example.

No, it won't. If it bothers you, don't buy it.

If the coin is already graded by one of the TOP 3 why do you care what the TOP 2 think unless you are trying to buy it, reslab it, and try to make a profit based on public perception of the grading services?

I'm no expert on the series, but EF40 seems a little high, no?
I wouldn't try to cross it since I'm a fan of the small anacs holders
