I have looked everywhere and cannot find one like it. I also noticed that the edges have absolutely no sign of silver either.

I reckon it's been buried in the ground - possibly a detector find. British cupro-nickel coins go this color, and I've also dug a clad Roosevelt dime once that was just the same.
