Yesterday I received my first box of half dollars. These are hard to come by but gladly the teller at my bank was nice enough to order me one.

I remember the thrill of looking through my first full box of halves. I can't remember what I found though.

You've got to open it and get an ender shot too! Good luck! Brinks was better than Loomis for me, but hopefully you end up with some decent loot.

My past two weeks have flip-flopped for Halves... Last week, my Brinks box yielded 6 silvers, the String&Son one none. This week, the Brinks yielded no silvers, and the String&Son had four.

So far, I have searched 30 rolls and no silver. I found about 100 1976 bi centennial half dollars, 2 2000+, which are low mintage, and culled all of the dates that are in the cherry picker's guide that I will check for errors once I am done.
