A low grade coin but a variety I've not seen mentioned anywhere.
The V in Tertivs has been punched over another which is way out of position. There is possibly also a hint of a misaligned S below the dominant S.

The copper of William 111 was subject to such poor quality control.I wouldn't read too much into it.It happened.Thousands of minute varieties are out there. It is a complete can of worms.

Haven't seen that one before Hogarth! Very cool! I picked up these two recently. Finally found a 1700 that did NOT have an error.

"Normal" 1700

1701 with A's on the obverse, and a gigantic O in the date and V's on the reverse. This is the second one of these I have found.
