First and foremost, I'm almost sure this is the wrong forum, and I'm sorry. But look at this! This guy is selling quarters (for way too much) but gives a blurry photo of Walking Liberty halves!

If you want to see something on ebay that will really turn your stomach, check out the stuff for sale from Arlington Coin. All of his ads start out with "Estate find!" and the guy is a complete and total butcher. He gives every coin he gets his hands on a thorough scrubbing with a Scotch-Brite pad, and he has destroyed some pretty nice stuff. He used to take pictures of the coins on a Scotch-Brite, but after a back-and-forth with me in which I told him no self-respecting collector would let his coins near one of those things, he has started using a towel. After several conversations in which I tried to convince him to list one or 2 as is and see if they sold(he never seems to get any bids)I finally gave up, and came to 2 conclusions: 1. He has lots of money, and 2. He is nearly blind. Maybe if some others approach him about this he will see the light, but I didn't have any luck.

Well, at least it's the ones with NO stamp. I'd kind of like the ones minted by individual states though. 31 sold! Go to the UK and sell your clad quarters for five bucks each...

BikerCoinGuy: In all fairness, his shop being less than 30 minutes from my house, they did at one point and probably still do have a very large inventory of NGC/PCGS/ANACS/ICG slabbed higher end problem-free coins.

31 sold. Thats the answer I would give if I were this guy. He's in the UK, he's selling US coins for $5 ea and he's selling them. Good for him. There is too much stupid on the internet to fight it all on a daily basis.

I see nothing of what you are talking about. I see bad pictures, but no coins that were sandpapered to death. Please don't give dealers a bad rep when you yourself don't know what you are talking about.
