Coin masters, it maybe...its a ball serif type, only two listed on http://www.coppercoins.com, need a good closeup to match, think its 1944S-1MM-006?

Hint: try to match mintmark placement

Thanks Crazyb0. I don't know much about RPM's, but I think it's a serif mm. I don't see it on Coppercoins.

I think it is Machine Doubling, you can see it on the top of the 9 in the date.

Thank you Tanman. Maybe, but that doesn't preclude it. The S doesn't look reduced to me. I don't know for sure. I could use a good Coop here or a Jprine. ?
Rest in Peace

On second look, I'm throwing in with tanman2001. Sure its MD, looking closely at tops of digits there's wear all along, with MM shelving on upper as well is guaranteed MD. But then again, for us to really determine need 20X pix of date and mm.

BTW Coin masters, its a ball serif by the lower serif, the uppers are constant for both these, there is a small one too...easily found on 41S & 45S!!

Pretty sure that is a serif mm with MD. There were an unusually large number of coins with MD-north on the 44-S and while it could mask some other rpm I find that the MD is usually all that is there. RPM-002 is probably closest-looking but the mint mark is in the wrong place for it (and 002 is lighter).
