At a coin show last Sunday a dealer had the following 1945 Mercury dime for $45. Although it is an error, it does appear to have FSB's and the TPGS did not mention this but graded it and slabbed it. So I bought it. I'm thinking about either breaking it out for an Album or leaving it as is.

Actually alot of 1945s that are broadstruck have better bands then most. I've seen some with the FB designation as well. Good pickup for that price

Nice one. It certainly does look like FSB. You can't go wrong keeping it in the slab or using it in an album.

Great find carl! Numismedia has a value of $5,780 for a 1945 FSB. Maybe crossover to PCGS to get FSB designation.

Since I never sell a coin, if in a slab with a designation of FSB, it would still sit in the same place forever. FSB or not, I really like this one and for that price, whatever it is, is OK with me.

Nice pick Carl but you may need to resize the hole in your album for that little beauty.
