Hello everyone I'm new to the site but I just wanted to share what happened to me. Background info - In Maryland and just started hunting.

So yesterday I picked up a box of nickels and begin my first ever venture into nickel searching. I was hoping that I would find maybe one or two cool coins in the box but new that I might find none and to my luck I found a dateless Buffalo nickel when opening THE SECOND ROLL. I literally yelled yesssssss lol. I only checked 6 rolls last night and I can't wait to check the rest. Hopefully I'll get some War Nickels.

Thanks for reading and goodluck everyone!

Forbes!

The Coin Roll Hunting folks on CCF are some of the most fun and enthusiastic collectors around. You've come to the right place.

And awesome to find a Buffalo nickel in a coin roll! Wow.

to the family, forbes!

Great start, hint: save ANY 2009 P or D, they are HARD to find. Also, save the pre 1959's, there's 5 key dates and other low mintage ones, check the mintmarks!

, To CCF . Nice to find a Buffalo in a modern roll of Nickels . If you want to try to bring up the date , try a mixture of vinegar and peroxide enough to cover coin in a shallow dish . Time left in solution can vary between 4 and 24 hours .
