If about quarter size it looks like an arcade slug. Carnival tokens are similar as well, but a gaming token no less. Without any # or name will be hard to ID.

I have just found 5 of these myself. Still no idea but I found them in Dayton Ohio. 3 silver and two gold. They have the letter A, O or you stamped on them.

@mailmanguy, first welcome to CCF. Second, that is very interesting that you are finding more of these tokens. The OP's coin has a letter M stamped on it I think. Please post back here if you figure out what use these guys served.
